Precision Gears specialise in the manufacture and overhaul of industrial gears, gearboxes and rotating plant equipment. They operate a 24/7 emergency service to get you back up and running when the unexpected happens.
Mid 2015 Precision Gears changed ownership into the capable hands of Jason Ganley. Jason brings a wealth of knowledge to the company and is committed to reinvesting in the business. Taking it to the next level by investing in new plant/equipment and maintaining our already high standards of workmanship and service. Jason is supported by an existing team who draw on decades of knowledge and experience in transmission and precision machining.
Precision Gears services various industries nationwide such as Steel Production, Pulp and Paper, Mining, Energy, Forestry and Tourism. From conveyors to chairlifts to cranes, no job is too big or too small.

We enjoy the use of a modern well lit workshop with a 10T SWL Gantry. The Heat Treatment of our components is carried out by specialised companies such as Heat Treatments Ltd. Gear types we can manufacture in house include Spur, Helical, Spiral Bevel, Straight Bevel, Worm and Worm Wheel, Racks, Splines and Internal Gears.
